rokaplay and Just For Games have confirmed that their match-three puzzler Beasties will release on Nintendo Switch in the coming months.
After a Beastiemaster mysteriously disappears, the complete harmony and symbiosis between Beasties and humans become fractured. The Beastiemaster guild sends you to search an isolated village, to find out what happened to the master and restore the old balance.
Set in a “colourful and handpainted world,” the game has looked to combine “the casual and relaxing gameplay of match-three puzzles and the thrilling collection of beautifully designed creatures.”
The publisher has been clear that the game does not have “hundreds of monsters, multiplayer, an expansive post-game, monster evolutions or breeding mechanics,” but you should get a feel for what you can expect from the announcement trailer below.
Beasties will release at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 1st July 2022.
