Maximum Entertainment has confirmed a release date for Instant Sports 2, which is in development for Nintendo Switch.
Breakfirst Games is the developer behind this sequel to the original sports action game, which went on to sell more than 1.5 million copies worldwide.
It returns with 10 sports games like baseball, base jumping, mini-golf, rafting and padel, delivered with the same “fast-paced, easy-to-pick-up gameplay with depth for players looking to master each discipline.”
The publisher has outlined the game’s key features, which include:
- A wide array of sports: 10 sports games including baseball, base jumping, mini-golf, mountain biking, tennis, boxing, rafting, padel, and much more!
- Local Multiplayer: Play solo or with up to four players simultaneously on the same screen and earn tickets based on your score and ranking.
- Extended character customisation: Spend the tickets you earn in the in-game shop to unlock outfits, equipment and visual effects to personalise your very own character with its unique look!
- Game hub: Explore an expansive sports park complete with a variety of vibrant themed zones, each with its own unique sports game.
Instant Sports 2 will be released digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 16 July 2026, with a physical edition to be released on 30 September 2026.
