Epic Games has announced that Master Chief has arrived in Fortnite, and can now be purchased from the in-game Item Shop.
Master Chief has been released as part of the Gaming Legends Series, and the Halo character’s items can be purchased separately or as part of a discounted bundle:
- Master Chief (Outfit) and Battle Legend (Back Bling): 1,500 V-Bucks
- Gravity Hammer (Pickaxe): 1,000 V-Bucks
- UNSC Pelican (Glider): 800 V-Bucks
- Lil’ Warthog (Emote): 500 V-Bucks
- Master Chief Bundle: 2,200 V-Bucks
“As announced at The Game Awards, the next figure from across realities to join the hunt is famed Spartan Master Chief. Hunter of the Covenant and destroyer of the Sacred Rings, few are more qualified to take on the Island’s bounties and the existential threat of the Loop,” Epic Games writes.
“Part of the Gaming Legends series, the Master Chief set is now available in the Item Shop. Chief among this set is the Master Chief Outfit, available individually or in the Master Chief Bundle with the rest of the set. Suit up in the MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor and become a SPARTAN-II.
“In battle, make your landing with the UNSC Pelican Glider, a miniature Pelican carrier. And cover your back with the Battle Legend Back Bling, a holographic Elite skull which serves as a trophy of the Chief’s exploits. Also, when harvesting, batter like a Brute with the Gravity Hammer Pickaxe.”
Fortnite is now available as a free download on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
