I can’t be alone in my fondness for hurling Poké Balls around in Super Smash Bros., and that only looks set to be heightened in the upcoming Wii U and 3DS iterations.

This week’s Super Smash Bros. Direct saw series director Masahiro Sakurai reveal that Master Balls would be introduced, whenever flung only rare of Legendary Pokemon will emerge from them.

Those so far confirmed include Arceus, who will use heavy attacks and can hit fighters in mid-air with a Meteor Attack, as well as Xerneas, Palkia, Keldeo, Victini, Kyurem, Deoxys, Entei and Meloetta.

Super Smash Bros. will release on 3DS this summer, with the Wii U version following in winter.
