Mass Effect Trilogy may release on Wii U

It was certainly odd when EA announced plans to release the Mass Effect Trilogy across PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, yet not for Wii U.

Whilst owners of Nintendo’s new console can pick up Mass Effect 3: Special Edition, there is still a chance for the first two games in the trilogy to eventually make their way across as well.

“We have a terrific company in Australia [Straight Right] who did a good job putting Mass Effect 3 on Wii U,” the BioWare representative explained to GamerSyndrome.

“Again, I can’t really comment on rumoured speculation about the game or the franchise. Wii U is a console we feel is really cool and that more Mass Effect would look great on it, so we do have plans for Wii U but nothing to announce at this moment.”

Probed further as to whether the entire Mass Effect Trilogy would ever be brought to Nintendo’s new console, they responded: “As we like to tell people on Twitter, “Never Say Never.” The same can be said about the Mass Effect Trilogy for Wii U. Never Say Never.”
