Nintendo has announced that a special Super Smash Bros. Ultimate presentation will be broadcast tomorrow.

This will see series director Masahiro Sakurai offer an in-depth look at the upcoming DLC fighter, Dragon Quest’s Hero, as well as when they will be released.

The mascot brawler will also receive a 4.0.0 software update this week, which, as with the others that have come before it, will mean that any replays that you have created in versions before 3.1.0 will no longer be compatible.

If you want to keep them, you will need to convert your replays by going to Vault > Replays > Replay Data > Convert to Video, before updating the game.

Hero is part of the Nintendo’s plans for the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fighters Pass, which, post-launch up until February 2020, will deliver five characters, five stages and multiple music tracks as downloadable content.

While this content can be bought individually as five packs (£5.39 / €5.99), the Fighters Pass bundles them together with a slight discount (£22.49 / €24.99).

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is now available exclusively for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
