Nintendo of America has announced that Mario Sports Superstars will release in March, after the Nintendo 3DS exclusive was revealed to the world last September.

With “five full-featured sports” in Soccer, Tennis, Golf, Baseball, and Horse Racing, players can take on friends and rivals in local or online multiplayer, hone their skills in training, or tackle single-player tournaments.

You will need to master each sport, whether that be learning when to use an infield shift in Baseball, changing your team’s formation in Soccer, or building a stable of horses in Horse Racing, but each with a Mushroom Kingdom twist.

Nintendo will also release Mario Sports Superstars amiibo cards which, when scanned, while playing Mario Sports Superstars, will reward players with “a variety of fun bonuses.” The game will include one amiibo card packed in, and they will be available in blind packs of five priced at $4.99 each.

Mario Sports Superstars will release exclusively on Nintendo 3DS in North America on March 24th.
