Nintendo has announced that it will hold a Mario Kart World Invitational 2025 tournament in the coming months.
“Announcing the Mario Kart World Invitational 2025 tournament, taking place at Nintendo Live 2025 Tokyo on October 4th and 5th!” the company revealed on X. “More details will be revealed in the future.”
Nintendo Live 2025 Tokyo will be held between Saturday 4 – Sunday 5 October 2025 at Tokyo Big Sight, with other activities to include stage events, game tournaments and hands-on opportunities with Nintendo Switch 2.
The company has confirmed that there will be no music concerts, such as last year’s Splatoon 3 Live Concert featuring Deep Cut and The Legend of Zelda Orchestra Concert.
Advance registration is required for general admission and participating in tournaments, with further information to be released from next month onwards.
Mario Kart World is now available at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2 worldwide.
