Nintendo has revealed that a limited-time event has started in Mario Kart Tour, presenting the chance for you to collect green-coloured Event Tokens.
This event will run until 6.59am on Wednesday 12th August 2020, which, in the Wild West Tour, will see that there’s a chance that the Coins that you normally find on courses or in Item Boxes will appear as Event Tokens instead.
These can then be exchanged for drivers, rubies and other items in the Event Shop, which will appear in the standard Shop until 6.59am on Friday 14th August 2020.
The lineup of items available in the Event Shop is different from the Daily Selects and does not change during a tour. This time around the featured item is Wario and you can also exchange your Event Tokens for points-cap tickets and rubies.
You cannot carry over Event Tokens into the next tour, so make sure that you use those that you collect before the Event Shop closes.
Mario Kart Tour is now available on the App Store for iOS devices and Google Play for Android devices worldwide.
