Nintendo has announced a Mario Kart Tour closed beta test will start next month, open to those with Android devices in the United States and Japan.
The closed beta test will run from Wednesday 22nd May – Tuesday 4th June, with applications to remain open until Tuesday 7th May.
“The closed beta test is a test of an application under development and is held for customers in order to improve the quality of the game,” Nintendo explains.
“Furthermore, the number of customers who may participate in this test is limited. If the number of applications exceeds the number of possible participants, we will randomly select the participants.”
Nintendo adds that certain (but unspecified) Android devices will be excluded, and that in-game purchases will not be available during the closed beta test.
Mario Kart Tour will release for iOS and Android devices in Summer 2019.
