Bandai Namco Entertainment has released a new trailer to promote their VR Zone Arcade in Shinjuku, Tokyo, which, catching the world by surprise, has revealed Mario Kart Arcade GP VR.

The action-packed kart racer will once again let players compete on courses scattered around the Mushroom Kingdom, with Mario Kart Arcade GP VR seeing players dodging enormous Piranha Plants, drifting under Thwomps, and soaring over huge ravines.

The brief glimpse that we see in the trailer appears to show that the four-player experience will require that you wear wristbands, that will detect when you pick up an item and then throw it at a rival in the distance.
