Amazon UK have begun to reveal their Best of 2014 Awards, seeing Mario Kart 8 secure the top prize.
Nintendo will be pleased to add another Game of the Year win under the belt, with the kart racer’s success matched by Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS which claimed Best Game for the Commute.
Other categories saw Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor claim Best Action & Adventure, Dragon Age Inquisition win Best RPG, and Wolfenstein: The New Order secure Best First-Person Shooter. Meanwhile Far Cry 4 scored itself Best Use of Troy Baker, Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 was crowned Best Surprise, and Divinity: Original Sin won Best Crowd-Funded Title.
