Mario Kart 8 put to the test in new TV advertising campaign

“Flippin’ fun” seems to be the slogan for Nintendo of America’s TV advertising campaign to promote the fast approaching arrival of Mario Kart 8.

We’re treated to three separate adverts that predictably focus on elements that are new to the kart racer, namely the Super Horn, Boomerang Flower and anti-gravity. These are experimented with in a test facility, before Nintendo blitz us with gameplay footage from the Wii U exclusive.

Mario Kart 8 launches for Wii U across Europe and North America on May 30th.
