Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has proven to be particularly popular on Nintendo Switch, becoming the fastest-selling game in the series in the United States.
Nintendo wants to make sure that the kart racer’s online experience continues to run smoothly and, therefore, will soon look under the game’s hood in a scheduled maintenance window.
Between 3 – 4a.m. BST on Wednesday 10th May 2017 all network services in the Nintendo Switch exclusive will be temporarily taken offline, to return shortly afterwards. You can use that time to earn a gold trophy in every Cup at 200cc in Grand Prix mode, for those that still need to unlock Gold Mario.
