Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass Wave 4 Out Now

Nintendo has confirmed that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass Wave 4 is now available.

This has added eight more courses to the kart racer – seven having been remastered from across the Mario Kart series, and one entirely new course in Yoshi’s Island. It has also introduced Birdo as a returning character from GameCube’s Mario Kart: Double Dash.

The Cups and their respective courses are divided as below:

Fruit Cup

  • Amsterdam Drift (Mario Kart Tour): Cruise from scenic city streets to fields full of colourful tulips in this Amsterdam-inspired course originating from the mobile game Mario Kart Tour.
  • Riverside Park (Mario Kart: Super Circuit): Through waterfalls and over bridges you’ll go in this jungle-themed track packed with sharp turns and towering greenery on a course that originated in Mario Kart: Super Circuit.
  • DK’s Snowboard Cross (Mario Kart Wii): Soar to new heights and carve down the hills on this twisty, turny and wintry course featuring ramps galore and some cool sculptures of familiar friends.
  • Yoshi’s Island (New): Move and groove around this new course inspired by Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. Flutter your feet over to the winner’s circle as you zoom through flower-covered hills and over cloud-dotted skies.

Boomerang Cup

  • Bangkok Rush (Mario Kart Tour): Golden skies, shimmering waterways and stunning sights aplenty are calling your name on this course that originated in Mario Kart Tour.
  • Mario Circuit (Mario Kart DS): This Mario Kart DS-inspired course features Peach’s Castle among its rolling hills and winding roads.
  • Waluigi Stadium (Mario Kart: Double Dash): Get ready to speed around the multitude of obstacles and ramps that make up this furiously fast dirt course that originated in Mario Kart: Double-Dash!!.
  • Singapore Speedway (Mario Kart Tour): Drift your way through the city lights to first place and be mindful of the vacationing Goombas on this colourful course that originated in Mario Kart Tour.

These join the Golden Dash Cup and the Lucky Cat Cup from the first wave, as well as Turnip Cup and Propeller Cup from Wave 2 along with the Rock Cup and Moon Cup from Wave 3.

The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass can be purchased on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch or comes at no additional cost to those with a paid Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscription.
