Mario Kart 7 will be the first Nintendo 3DS title that will utilise new functionality that allows you to join a friend’s game, a video posted by Tiny Cartridge has revealed.
Its implementation appears relatively simple – the player selecting who they’d like to join directly from their Friends List, to then appear within their active session after a brief loading screen.
Nintendo’s latest system update for the handheld is expected to be available from November 30th, although it was partly included on Super Mario 3D Land cartridges.
Mario Kart 7 is due to release for Nintendo 3DS across Europe on December 2nd, and North America on December 4th.
