Nintendo celebrated the launch of Mario Kart 7 in style last week, as journalists and assorted games industry types descended upon London’s Sports Cafe.
Attendees were able to participate within a heavily contended Mario Kart 7 tournament, presided by BBC Formula One commentator David Croft – Ubisoft eventually reigning supreme as victors!
More celebrities were also in attendance, including X Factor winner Alexandra Burke, Trigger Happy TV funny-man Dom Joly, footballer Anton Ferdinand, cricketer Darren Gough, Gavin & Stacey star Matt Horne and comedian Jack Whitehall.
We were also there, of course, enjoying a Photo Booth that had been specially kitted out with Mario and Luigi hats, fake moustaches, and Mario Kart 7 flags as props!
Mario Kart 7 is currently available in Europe and North America for Nintendo 3DS.
