Curve Digital and Perfectly Paranormal have announced that Manual Samuel will release on Nintendo Switch next week, a whimsical behavioural comedy that promises to be one of the wackiest games on the Nintendo eShop.
When arrogant trust-fundee Samuel is involved in a fatal car accident, he makes a deal with Death. He will be given one last shot at life if he can make it through a single day having to manually manage even the most instinctive tasks.
That means that you will have to control his walking, blinking, exhaling and inhaling if you are to guide him through his day, whether that be getting dressed, drinking coffee, going to work or navigating the other hijinks that happen.
“Manual Samuel felt completely unlike anything else when we first debuted it in 2016. And two years later… that’s still the case!” explains Perfectly Paranormal director Ozan Drøsdal. “We hope the Switch’s convenient to carry Joy-Con controllers ensure more people try the comically challenging co-op mode.”
Manual Samuel will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on August 16th priced at £9.99 (€9.99 / $9.99) and is now available to pre-order.
