Deep Silver has announced that Manticore: Galaxy on Fire will release on Nintendo Switch next week, having needed to be rescheduled after the space action shooter had suffered a last-minute delay.

The game, which has been created by developer Deep Silver Fishlabs, will see you be recruited as a pilot by the mercenary carrier, Manticore. The crew are investigating an intergalactic conspiracy behind a cataclysmic event called “The Shattering,” which has caused much suffering in the Neox Sector.

With more than eight hours of play time promised and 60 frames per second across all game modes, you will fly spectacular spaceships, master challenging missions, and explore a handcrafted universe as you take down the galaxy’s most wanted criminals in action-packed dogfights.

Manticore: Galaxy on Fire will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on April 19th, priced at £17.99.
