With the spectacularly dramatic music that had accompanied last week’s The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild trailer, Nintendo has recently revealed that Manaka Kataoka is the lead composer for Link’s open-air adventure.

VGMO report that the game’s main theme had been performed at The Legend of Zelda 30th Anniversary Concert series in Japan last year, at which the program confirmed that Kataoka has penned the music.

She worked at Nintendo EAD between 2006 – 2015, composing music for games such as Wii Fit, Animal Crossing: City Folk, The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks, Animal Crossing: New Leaf, and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. After the internal restructure in September 2015, she has since worked for Nintendo EPD.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will release for Nintendo Switch and Wii U worldwide on March 3rd.
