It has been announced that a special QR Code distribution for Magearna will take place in Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon next month.

The QR Code for the Mythical Pokémon will become available within the Pokémon TV app from Tuesday 6th December in Europe. Once scanned in-game, the code will allow players to obtain Magearna.

As a reminder, a special Munchlax and Snorlium-Z can be received in Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon by using the Mystery Gift function between 23rd November 2016 – 11th January 2017.

Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon will release exclusively for Nintendo 3DS in North America, Australia and New Zealand on November 18th, and in Europe on November 23rd.
