After creator Garth Noyce teased the news, Rising Star Games has announced that Lumo will see release on Nintendo Switch next month.

Developers Triple Eh? Ltd and Spiral House have worked to port the contemporary take on the isometric platformer to the portable home console, a game that harkens back to the golden era of games in the 1980s and early 1990s.

With numerous salutes to the influential gaming period waiting to be discovered, players will explore more than 400 rooms in four stylised zones, with six hidden mini-games and other wonders to uncover – resulting in what is promised to be a true voyage of discovery.

Lumo will see release for Nintendo Switch at retail and on the Nintendo eShop worldwide in October.
