Enhance and Resonair have announced that Lumines Remastered will release on Nintendo Switch next month, arriving slightly later than planned.

“You’ve been waiting long enough. Can you wait just a little bit longer?” the developer asked. “Lumines Remastered is officially releasing on June 26th on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam. Yes, we know we said May, but the sun will be shinin’ in June.”

This critically-acclaimed puzzler, which was produced by legendary creator Tetsuya Mizuguchi, is an HD remaster of the original game – which was a PlayStation Portable launch game in Japan – that merges sound, light, and puzzle-action into one addictive and exhilarating game. You will be at the centre of the high-energy, block-dropping action while you chill out to house, trance, and techno beats.

Lumines Remastered can be played in TV, Handheld, and Tabletop modes, and will have 40 skins (which are levels) to unlock as you test your skills in Challenge Mode, Skin Edit, Time Attack, Puzzle, Mission, VS CPU, and VS 2-Player modes.

You can feel the rhythm and blocks dropping thanks to HD Rumble, and, an even crazier idea, is that you can send rhythm feedback to multiple controllers placed in your pockets with the Trance Vibration setting.

Lumines Remastered will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on June 26th.
