Enhance and Resonair have announced that Lumines Remastered will release on Nintendo Switch, the critically-acclaimed puzzler produced by legendary creator Tetsuya Mizuguchi.

This is an HD remaster of the original game – which was a PlayStation Portable launch game in Japan – that merges sound, light, and puzzle-action into one addictive and exhilarating game. You will be at the centre of the high-energy, block-dropping action while you chill out to house, trance, and techno beats.

Lumines Remastered can be played in TV, Handheld, and Tabletop modes, and will have 40 skins (which are levels) to unlock as you test your skills in Challenge Mode, Skin Edit, Time Attack, Puzzle, Mission, VS CPU, and VS 2-Player modes.

You can feel the rhythm and blocks dropping thanks to HD Rumble, and, an even crazier idea, is that you can send rhythm feedback to multiple controllers placed in your pockets with the Trance Vibration setting.

Lumines Remastered will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in May 2018.
