Luigi’s Poltergust 5000 returns in Super Smash Bros.

You would be forgiven for thinking that the Poltergust 5000 had once again been cast aside, after the ghost-sucking vacuum was put to use throughout Luigi’s Mansion 2. But think again.

Super Smash Bros. creator Masahiro Sakurai has today revealed that it will return in the upcoming Wii U and 3DS titles, set for release later in the year.

“Luigi might be thinking, ‘Who would’ve thought I’d get to show off the Poltergust in Super Smash Bros.?!’ Wondering if it’s going to suck something in? Yeah, it probably will”, Sakurai wrote on Miiverse, accompanied by this screenshot that sees Donkey Kong flung away in the background.
