2Awesome Studio and BoxFrog Games have announced that Lost Wing will release on Nintendo Switch this week.

This speedster shooter has been released as part of the 2Awesome Partners initiative and allows you to “pilot a super fast ship through brutal environments” in an effort to top the leaderboards.

With the experience seeing you fly at super high speeds, you will race through tracks dodging and shooting everything in your path. Reach the end goal, and you will have the chance to destroy the boss to secure bonus points.

There are three unique worlds and multiple ships to pilot, as well as different modes, stages and weapons in what the developer sees as presenting “a perfect challenge for the most demanding players.”

“With Lost Wing, we wanted to mix the speed of the Wipeout series with shooting gameplay inspired on Tempest and the tension-aggression feeling of games like Thumper,” explains BoxFrog Games director Tim Ash. “In the end, Lost Wing is better than the sum of it parts, a shot of pure unadulterated adrenaline.”

Lost Wing will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 31st July 2020.
