Marvelous have today announced that they will release strategy RPG adventure Lords of Magna: Maiden Heaven exclusively for Nintendo 3DS worldwide.

From Rune Factory series producer Yoshifumi Hashimoto, players will step into the role of unsuccessful innkeeper Luchs who is forced to excavate crystals to make his way in life. His fortunes change when he discovers a mysterious fairy maiden encased in a crystal, which, when awakening, sends Luchs on an adventure where he will battle ferocious monsters, manage his inn, and discover the secrets behind six fairy maidens.

These seven fairy maidens each have their own tale to tell, and building relationships with each of them will allow you to deploy new, specialised attacks that will aid you in combat – a turn-based battle system where movement range is dictated by a circle of reach.

“We’re extremely excited about finally announcing Lord of Magna: Maiden Heaven for Europe and Australia,” comments Marvelous Europe’s marketing manager Steven Tarry. “Hot on the heels of the successful European release of Rune Factory 4, we expect fans to get lost in this magical experience. ”

StreetPass will allow you to collect rare crafting items to create new skills to help in battle, whereas an adjustable difficulty level will ease or heighten the challenge for those looking for it. Unlockable extras include reliving in-game movies, as well as supporting art galleries.

Lords of Magna: Maiden Heaven will release exclusively for Nintendo 3DS in North America at retail and through the Nintendo eShop on June 2nd for $39.99, and through the Nintendo eShop in Europe and Australia on 4th June at £24.99 (€29.99 / $49.95AUD).
