If there is one criticism that can’t be directed at Nintendo, that lies in relation to the fact that they have near continuously refreshed the Nintendo 3DS family of systems with new colours and special-themed designs.
Even after five years that doesn’t look as if it will be changing any time soon, with the company announcing plans to shortly release a Lime x Black New Nintendo 3DS LL and Pink x White New Nintendo 3DS LL in Japan.
The revised New Nintendo 3DS LL model has surprisingly proved to be more popular than the customisable New Nintendo 3DS in the country, with sales outpacing its smaller counterpart each week.
The Lime x Black New Nintendo 3DS LL and Pink x White New Nintendo 3DS LL will be priced at 20,304 yen (£130), and will launch in Japan on June 9th.
