Klabater and Inverge Studios have announced that Effie is in development for Nintendo Switch.
In looking to recreate the feeling of old-school video games, this 3D action-adventure has taken inspiration from classic series such as Crash Bandicoot, Rayman and The Legend of Zelda.
You play as Garland, a young man who sets out on a quest to recover his youth after a witch curses him with old age. The experience combines combat, platforming and puzzles with the chance to explore an expansive fantasy world.
That will see you defeat sinister creatures as you work to free cities in the region of Oblena from the powerful black magic that now controls them, using the Runestone, a magic shield that lets you both defend yourself and surf across the red grassland.
Effie will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in 2020.
