LEVEL-5 considering Professor Layton Wii U

LEVEL-5 CEO Akihiro Hino has expressed his interest in developing a Professor Layton game for Wii U.

In the latest issue of Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu, he discussed an idea where the player would wander around 3D environments based on London, with all the usual clue-hunting and puzzle-solving that fans of the series have become accustomed to.

He was initially conscious of the Wii U GamePad being too heavy, although was surprised at how light it was when he used one briefly.
