Maximum Entertainment has announced that Leo and Mia: Animal Rescue will be released on Nintendo Switch in the coming months.
In this heartwarming sequel to Leo the Firefighter Cat, the brave feline assumes a new role as an animal rescuer and must work with his loyal sidekick Mia to thwart poachers’ plans.
The publisher has outlined the game’s key features, which include:
- A New Role for Leo: Leo is back, but this time he’s trading in his fire helmet for a rescuer’s hat! Partnering with Mia, Leo embarks on thrilling missions to protect and nurture wildlife in danger.
- Rescue & Heal: Step into the shoes of an animal rescuer, treating injured wildlife and ensuring the survival of various species such as elephants, giraffes, lions, and more.
- Diverse Environments: Explore over 15 exciting missions across diverse biomes, including savannahs, mangrove forests, and high-altitude mountain ranges. Each location is teeming with unique wildlife and challenging obstacles.
- Fight Against Poachers: Go head-to-head with dangerous poachers and protect vulnerable animals from harm. Use your skills and quick thinking to stop the bad guys in their tracks.
- Adventure Mode & Photo Gallery: Capture precious moments of the wildlife you save with your camera, building a personal photo gallery of the cutest and most majestic animals you’ve helped.
- Unlockable Skins & Rewards: As you progress through the game, unlock new skins for Leo and Mia, giving them unique looks and making them even more heroic in their rescue missions.
Leo and Mia: Animal Rescue will be released at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 10 April 2025.
