Nintendo and The LEGO Group have shared a new trailer for LEGO Peach, the next addition to the LEGO Super Mario product line.

The Mushroom Kingdom’s iconic princess will bring her recognisable voice and sound effects and can interact with LEGO Mario and LEGO Luigi through a Bluetooth connection – letting the characters greet each other, celebrate and team up to defeat enemies.

With the LEGO Super Mario Adventures with Peach Starter Course, you can discover Peach’s reactions by helping her ride the swing set, opening gifts, defeating enemies like Lemmy and a Lava Bubble or befriending a Yellow Toad.

It will launch alongside the LEGO Super Mario Peach’s Castle Expansion Set, which “boasts a range of fun challenges, including knocking Ludwig off the cloud, fixing the broken bridge and greeting Toadette.” There is also a buildable throne room that can spin around to reveal Bowser, and other fun surprises to discover such as a Bob-omb painting with a secret Action Tag and a cake with a Goomba hiding inside.

“Peach is such a fan favourite that we knew we had to add her and the iconic castle to our LEGO Super Mario world. Over the past two years, we’ve focused on helping fans get as creative as possible with their favourite characters, which is why we’ve been gradually building out the universe with more Expansion Sets, Character Packs and Power-Up Packs,” explains The LEGO Group creative lead Simon Kent.

“Last year, we added a Luigi Starter Course to bring two-player action to life, and now we’re ecstatic that we can further build on the social element of play, by bringing LEGO Peach into the action too. Ready for the spotlight, LEGO Peach will play an important role in joining the famous brothers on their journey to defeat their enemies and earn as many coins as possible in the process, too.”

The LEGO Super Mario Adventures with Peach Starter Course will release at retailers around the world on 1st August 2022.
