LEGO Marvel’s Avengers issues a call to arms in debut trailer

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have shared the first trailer for LEGO Marvel’s Avengers, which releases later this year.

Reconstructed with LEGO bricks and retaining TT Games’ quirky humour, the game will trace the characters and events of Marvel’s The Avengers and sequel Avengers: Age of Ultron, that has so far grossed more than $1.348 billion worldwide at the box office. Which is certainly a rather impressive, and enviable, profit margin on the blockbuster’s $279.9 million budget!

Players can look forward to reliving key moments, such as the Battle of New York where the Avengers square off against Loki and the Chitauri that begin to invade Earth.

LEGO Marvel’s Avengers will launch for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS this winter.
