Lego City Stories has been renamed Lego City Undercover and is set to appear exclusively on Wii U and 3DS.

The open world crime fighting game, developed by UK studio Traveller’s Tales, is built from the ground up with colourful Lego bricks and is built around the console’s Wii U Game Pad.

This function can be used to scan the environment for clues, manage missions, place waypoints, and more.

Undercover’s story will see players explore the Lego city to hunt down the mysterious criminal Rex Fury.

Players can also don a number of disguises from firefighter, construction worker, to robber in order to gain access to the city’s buildings and solve puzzles.

More than 100 vehicles will appear in the game including sports cars, motorcycles, and aircrafts.

A 3DS version is also in development with new missions and a unique storyline for portable players.
