LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes’ Open World explored in latest trailer

LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes’ open world environment is explored within this latest trailer.

Promising over 500 square miles of LEGO bricks the sequel signals a shift for the franchise, moving away from the previous level-by-level linearity which was accompanied by an small, explorable hub environment.

This time around, Batman and Robin team up with such DC Universe super heroes as Superman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern, united to save Gotham City from manipulative duo Lex Luthor and the Joker.

In doing so, you can use vehicles including the Batmobile and Batwing, whilst employing a range of new gadgetry and suit abilities. These will introduce flight, super-breath and heat vision, amongst others.

LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes will release for Wii, Nintendo DS and Nintendo 3DS during Summer.
