Wired Productions and Caged Element has shared more details about GRIP, their ferociously fast, futuristic arcade combat racer that promises players a wheel-gripping racing experience.
You will be able to race at speeds above 767 miles per hour, which, as they are keen to point out, makes it the fastest racing game on four wheels – whether across roads, ceilings or anything else that players can land their tyres on.
There are 19 tracks to race around based on hostile and foreign worlds, and, in looking to cross the finish line in first place, you can use 11 devastating weapons and power-ups like explosive darts, mines, and missiles to shields and turbos.
These weapons will not only target other cars but the environment that surrounds them, letting you blast your way through structures or collapsing them unexpectedly on your unsuspecting competition.
You can choose between 15 armoured cars to drive, with some that are swift and agile while others are brutish and heavily armoured. With the chance to modify them to suit your play style, you can also customise them with paint jobs, decals, wheels and other details.
GRIP will release for Nintendo Switch worldwide in Fall 2018.
