Nintendo Treehouse: Live at E3 2016 will provide “the world’s first in-depth look” at The Legend of Zelda for Wii U and Nintendo NX, but we have been given an early indication about the sense of scale that Link’s adventure promises.

New artwork for the game has been inadvertently leaked ahead of schedule by Amazon, which shows Link clambering up a mountainside. Against a beautiful sunset we can see Death Mountain in the distance, while, potentially, Hyrule Castle seemingly enveloped by a mysterious magical spell. Lookout towers, buildings and more can be seen, but we’ll have to wait to learn about how Nintendo has breathed life into the iconic land.

The Legend of Zelda will release exclusively for Wii U and Nintendo NX in 2017.
