The Pokémon Company International has confirmed that Latios will join the fray in Pokémon UNITE on Friday 18 July, alongside the start of the game’s fourth anniversary celebrations.
The Eon Pokémon was first introduced in Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire, and will now compete in Aeos Island’s battle arenas.
“The Pokemon UNITE 4th Anniversary begins on July 18! To help celebrate, Latios will join the fray as an Attacker on the first day of the event!” the company confirmed on social media. “Stay tuned for more information coming soon.”
Pokémon UNITE is now available digitally as a free download on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch, for iOS devices on the App Store and for Android devices through Google Play.
