The last issue of Nintendo Power has now hit shelves across North America, signalling the end of the magazine’s tenure since it was first published in 1988.
It had been confirmed back in August that Nintendo Power would cease following its December issue, and alas that time has come.
The final cover shows a sculpted clay scene inspired by New Super Mario Bros. U, which pays a wonderful homage to the magazine’s debut cover that featured a clay scene from Super Mario Bros. 2.
