Blowfish Studios and WhaleFood Games have announced that KungFu Kickball will release on Nintendo Switch.

With minimalistic controls to create an accessible yet competitive experience, this team-based fantasy sport platform fighter will challenge players to face off in an experience that mixes soccer with martial arts.

That will see you unleash kicks, punches, and magical abilities to take out the opposing team to slam the ball downfield.

In local and online one-on-one or two-on-two multiplayer matches, you must score points by overpowering or outmaneuvering rival defenders – sending the ball crashing into one of the gigantic bells at either end of the stadium.

“KungFu Kickball is a new kind of sports game that injects the high-flying action of martial arts,” explains Blowfish Studios co-founder Ben Lee.

“As fans of both sport and kung fu action, we’re having a lot of fun with this project and look forward to sharing it with everyone early next year.”

KungFu Kickball will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in Q1 2020.
