Kotobukiya to create Xenoblade Chronicles X Skell figures

Nintendo and MonolithSoft have partnered with Kotobukiya to help promote Xenoblade Chronicles X.

First on the Japanese figure manufacturer’s agenda, which continues to work on Marvel, Star Wars, Street Fighter and Halo properties, will be Skell – the game’s mechanised armour suits. Early prototypes have been shared through the Wii U exclusive’s official website, the plastic model kit showing the Skell in its mech and bike forms – although it remains unclear whether they are separate models, or if it can transform.

Xenoblade Chronicles X has now launched exclusively for Wii U in Japan, and will see a western release later this year.
