You will be able to meet Koraidon in Pokémon Scarlet, and Miraidon in Pokémon Violet. These two Pokémon are said to have powers that far surpass those of other Pokémon, but details about Koraidon and Miraidon are still shrouded in mystery.
These games are promised to “take a new evolutionary step in the Pokémon main series,” with players offered the chance to “explore an open world where various towns with no borders blend seamlessly into the wilderness.” You will be able to see Pokémon everywhere in this “wide-open world,” whether that be in the skies, in the sea or on the streets.
Your character will have a different outfit depending on whether you are playing Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet, and you will be able to choose from three new starter Pokémon before setting off on your journey – Sprigatito the Grass Cat Pokémon, Fuecoco the Fire Croc Pokémon, or Quaxly the Duckling Pokémon.
After their release, Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet will be able to link with Pokémon HOME, a service that allows Trainers to keep their entire Pokémon collection in one place. By linking these games with Pokémon HOME, Trainers will be able to have Pokémon from other regions adventure alongside them in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet.
Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet will release at retail and on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 18th November 2022.
