Konami announces first annual ‘Pre-E3 Show 2011’

Konami have today announced that they are to hold the company’s first annual global ‘Pre-E3 Show 2011.’ Fans will find themselves showered with the latest news, trailers and exclusive interviews via what is described as being an “internationally coordinated online screening event.”

In further promotion of the show, Konami will host live viewing events across the globe including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Toronto, São Paulo, Mexico City, with more to be announced. It’ll also be broadcast exclusively through several major online sites and gaming broadcast outlets around the world.

“The annual E3 show is the world’s marquee video game conference and trade show event that draws a critical mass of gaming enthusiasts from all over the globe,” Shinji Hirano, President of Konami Digital Entertainment Inc. discussed. “This year, we want to build buzz ahead of E3 by hosting our own Pre-E3 show that will tie the viewing party attendees from each city with online viewers through Flickr, Twitter and Facebook.”
