Knytt Underground release set for December 19th

Ripstone have announced a release date for subterranean exploration epic Knytt Underground, from talented indie developer Nifflas.

MP2’s Mathias Kærlev has worked tirelessly to bring the game to Wii U, which Nifflas proclaims as being the best looking version. Sprinkle the Infinity Hype update on top, and you have one sizeable title to work your way when it hits the Nintendo eShop next week.

Players control a mute sprite called Mi, employing use of extraordinary skills to tackle quests across multiple chapters before finding yourself in a world comprised of over 1,800 rooms for you to explore at your own pace.

Knytt Underground will release through the Wii U’s Nintendo eShop on December 19th.
