Bandai Namco Entertainment has shared new screenshots for Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series, which is coming to Nintendo Switch.
Released way back in 1997 by Namco, this 25th anniversary collection will include Klonoa: Door to Phantomile and Klonoa 2: Lunatea’s Veil.
Each game’s visuals have been treated to “an elegant revamp,” which now seems them run at 60 frames-per-second and “up to 4K resolution.” Although, the portable home console will be limited to 1080p in Docked and 720p in Handheld mode.
While Klonoa’s world and classic gameplay have been “faithfully preserved for new players and fans of the original to enjoy,” the remastered side-scrolling platform games have had an adjustable difficulty level and a two-player co-op option added to them.
Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series will release at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 8th July 2022.
