Nintendo has announced that two new Kirby Air Riders amiibo will be released, news that was shared in this week’s Nintendo Direct presentation.
The Kirby & Warp Star amiibo and Bandana Waddle Dee & Winged Star amiibo will be the first to be made available, with more Kirby Air Riders amiibo promised to be on the way.
The difference with these amiibo is that they are interchangeable, meaning that you could place Kirby on the Winged Star or Bandana Waddle Dee on the Warp Star.
Whichever vehicle they are placed on creates a Rider & Air Ride Machine combo, which can be scanned in-game to be trained as a FP (Figure Player). Your FP will gradually gain FP levels and machine proficiency, with each character retaining FP levels when placed and tapped with a different machine.
Kirby Air Riders will be released at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch 2 worldwide on 20 November 2025.
