Arc System Works and APLUS have announced that Kill la Kill The Game: IF will release on Nintendo Switch, that, previously confirmed for PlayStation 4 and PC, promises to deliver “KLK battle action.”

Based on the groundbreaking anime series that Hiroyuki Imaishi and Kazuki Nakashima collaborated on, this 3D battle action game will see players use long and short ranged attacks to deplete their opponent’s health bar.

You will come to rely on Attack, Guard and Break Attack moves as well as Evasion and Evasion Catch Attack – a simplicity in approach that is accessible to all but has enough depth for those that seek it.

There is a Ketsui Testament mechanic that, after pressing the L and R Button in battle and hitting your competition with a Ketsui Burst, players choose one from the three rock paper scissors choice of phrases to use as their testament.

If whoever activated the mechanic wins or scores a draw, their Ketsui Level will increase – rewarding them with power-ups and, eventually, an instant kill skill, “Fiber Lost: Secret Arts” (Sen’i Soshitsu Ougi).

Kill la Kill The Game: IF will release for Nintendo Switch worldwide in 2019.
