Nintendo of America have released a highlight reel showcasing the recent Kid Icarus: Uprising national championship that took place this month.
Players were invited to compete in multiplayer tournaments at GameStop stores across North America, three winners from each participating store then invited to battle it out in a final round that was held at Broadway and 84th Street in New York on March 22nd.
Samuel Buzby from New York took the crown, awarded the rather lengthy title of National Kid Icarus: Uprising Multiplayer Tournament Champion. Regarding his win, Buzby explained: “It feels amazing, I can’t explain how good of a feeling it is”.
Kid Icarus: Uprising is now available exclusively for Nintendo 3DS across North America and Europe.
