It has been confirmed that Kid Icarus: Uprising has at last gone gold.
Director Masahiro Sakurai shared the news on Twitter today, thanking all those that were involved with the project and joking that he may be able to rest properly on Saturday and Sunday.
Of course, this now means that he is free to begin work on the next Super Smash Bros. instalment for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS – something that I’m sure fans will be sure to remind him!
Kid Icarus: Uprising is due to release for Nintendo 3DS across Europe on March 16th, Japan on March 22nd, and North America on March 23rd.
