Keep Your Ship Intact In Catastronauts On Nintendo Switch

Inertia Game Studios has announced that Catastronauts will release on Nintendo Switch, a colourful and chaotic interstellar multiplayer action game.

Players will become a crew of intergalactic spacefarers who must work together to destroy an enemy fleet that pursues them while struggling to keep their own ship in one piece.

That will require co-ordination, co-operation and decisiveness to succeed, as you work out who will fire the lasers, arm the torpedoes, repair a breach in the hull, or extinguish any fires before they spread.

They’re only one thing to worry about, with levels throwing solar flares, malfunctioning extraction doors, and other space oddities at you to keep testing you.

“I’m extremely excited to reveal Catastronauts to the world. It’s our first console title and we struggle with keeping the noise down in the office when we play it,” explains Inertia Games Studios lead game developer Kieran Newland. “We’ve focused on making it super accessible while still keeping plenty of challenge and fun. We can’t wait to see how the public responds to it.”

Catastronauts will release for Nintendo Switch worldwide in late 2018.
